Star Trek Online Console Version Goes On "Red Alert" In January; Complete Dailies For Spec Point And Ultimate Tech Upgrade
Running from January 5th-12th.
Starting January 5th at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time, the Star Trek Online console version will go on "Red Alert" as multiple returning activities become playable until January 12th at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Players can earn rewards from previous Red Alert events and complete dailies to receive a Specialization point and Ultimate Tech Upgrade package.
The Red Alerts for Borg, Elachi, Tholian, Tzenkethi, and Nakuhl will be available on January 5th. While reaping the usual rewards from these Task Force Operations, players will accumulate a single daily bonus progress for finishing one each day. Once players have ten daily progress, they will gain a package containing an Ultimate Tech Upgrade and Specialization point.
Players can only receive one per account. And as a friendly warning, the fail condition for the Tzenkethi Red Alert will not grant daily bonus progress. Cryptic Studio will likely remove this condition in future runs of the Red Alert event.
Fans can also purchase the package on the events page in-game. The price will become prorated based on the daily progress earned, getting cheaper over time through playing.
