The Division 2 Extends Seasons And Delays Season 2 Until October For "Technical Improvements"
They need more time to deliver technical improvements.
The Division 2 announced on X (the site formerly known as Twitter) today that they are extending Seasons to four months, effectively delaying Season 2 until October of this year.
The change allows The Division 2 devs more time to allocate toward making technical improvements alongside the shooter's regularly scheduled Seasonal updates.

They will also be adding more events to the current Season's schedule, and it looks like you can expect to see Season 2 on the PTS sometime in September.
