Wildcard Gets Brutal In Apex Legends’ Galactic Games Event

Shooter games are popular for a reason, but that doesn’t mean that sometimes their fans couldn’t go for something a bit different. Especially if that something different is a bit ridiculous, like knocking each other around with baseball bats. If that’s the kind of mayhem you’re looking for, then Apex Legends’ Galactic Games event should be pretty exciting.

During the event, players will be able to loot the Grand Slam Bat from care packages in Wildcard. They’ll also be able to make things even more interesting by crafting Wild Cards that grant abilities like wall-running and a selection of melee buffs.

Of course, there are rewards to be had. By earning Honor, via daily challenges, players can unlock two different packs, the Event Pack and the Epic Apex Pack. Players also have the opportunity to obtain new legendary skins for several characters, as well as a Legendary Weapon skin. And – as this is a bat-themed event, a new Grand Slam Universal Melee weapon that can be used by all Legends.
