The test itself isn't a secret, but the thoughts of players will be, for now.

throne and liberty confidential test feat

Still waiting for that beta invite from Throne and Liberty? Yeah, you're probably going to be waiting a bit longer for it. If you haven't signed up for the MMORPG's beta yet, you can do so on the official site, but in the meantime Amazon Games and NCSoft are getting ready to kick off a "Confidential" test on September 19th.

We know the whole "confidential" part is to indicate the existence of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), something the official post on the test goes into GREAT detail to say will be enforced, but we can't help but giggle at a public announcemnt of a confidential test.

Anyway, the testing will only run until October 3rd and the audience testing the game will be SUPER limited. Amazon and NCSoft will be sending individual invites by September 14th to a select group of players and guilds. These testers will have access to a "world full of depth and verticality, fight large scale bosses, engage in field events, delve into massive dungeons, wage war in epic guild battles for territory and loot, clash in castle sieges and more" and get a chance to provide early feedback.

Sadly, the only recap we'll hear about the event is from the Throne and Liberty team themselves in a recap blog (hopefully) since no one in the test can say a word. What we CAN get a bit of information on is the impressions of some outlets who attended Gamescom.

Even though TnL is undergoing some changes from its initial reception (namely combat changes), MEINMMO (translated via TnL Online) still feels it isn't an action MMO, but it IS somewhat improved.
