Trouble Awaits In Wuthering Waves' Next Chapter, "Lightly We Toss The Crown"

If you think your work is done in Rinascita, you’re mostly right. Over the weekend, Kuro Games revealed the next Wuthering Waves update during the Version 2.4 Special Broadcast, and the Rover is leaving the city in search of Cartethyia. The search will lead to another city in the Rinascita region, named Septimont, which, unlike the city we’ve been spending time in, refrains from worshiping the Sentinel and is quite a bit more friendly to outsiders.

The new update, scheduled to release on June 12, will bring two new Resonators to the F2P action RPG. The first is Cartethyia, who can use two forms in combat. The other is a completely new character named Lupa. She is a resident of Septimont.

Of course, players won’t just be looking for Cartethyia in Septimont, despite that being the reason for going there. The Fractsidus have yet another plot in motion, and the city is constantly at risk from the Dark Tide. As for how things will turn out, we’ll find out soon enough.
