Warframe's All-Mech Event Kicks Off On Consoles Today

Today, console players finally have the chance to experience Warframe's all-mech event Operation: Orphix Venom -- and earn the new 'Lavos' Warframe. The event allows players to access mechs for free while they battle the Sentient forces, either on their own or in groups of up to four. This is a unique event, in that while participating in it, players can only use mechs. And, unless you really hate mechs, you'll want to do it because that's the way you'll earn the game's 45th Warframe.
In addition to earning a new Warframe, players can pick up two other rewards during this event. The first rewards comes from gifting Lavos to a friend. Those who do this will receive a Lavos Orbiter decoration. As for the other reward, players that get in on the action early (the first three weeks) will earn double Affinity.
