Watch Tera’s Final Quest On YouTube, Because You’re Not Going To Be Able To Play It
Unless you played on the Korean servers, that is.
Heroes can’t stay forever. Sooner or later they must move on. Whether that’s by choice or not doesn’t matter. It happens. In the case of Tera, the players who have been serving as the heroes of Arborea must move on after a decade of adventure thanks to the closure of the game on June 30.
But, unlike a lot of games, players aren’t just being kicked out without closure – or rather, Korean players aren’t. The developers put together a final quest celebrating the player’s contribution to the world. It’s a common hero’s farewell, but still a sweet one.
Krafton posted the quest’s cutscene on YouTube – obviously for those who will be unable to play through it based on location. It features English subtitles for those who need them. For those who’d like to see the quest in its entirety, a sixteen-minute video was shared by one of the players on the Korean servers. Just be aware that there are no subtitles here. But, it seems pretty clear that the quest is a bit of a goodbye tour.
