This comes before any announcement of the annual Shadow Royale event, which may debut around the same time.

Apex Legends Olympus Night Map

As Halloween gets closer, players naturally might believe Respawn Entertainment would return the annual LTM Shadow Royale in Apex Legends; however, a recent leak from a reputable dataminer says things could go differently this year. The leaker uncovered evidence of a new Gun Run LTM, supposedly featuring a nighttime Halloween map version of Olympus's Autumn Estates.

The dataminer - known for leaking Apex Legends' battle passes - released an image on their Discord server (seen on Reddit) that shows a new mode called "Gun Run: Haunted Estates." While nothing is officially confirmed, Olympus's Autumn Estates is theorized to be the perfect description for the map and most likely launching alongside Shadow Royale - if not the main headline of this year's event.

Apex Legends content creator iLootGames practically confirms its existence thanks to their video showing Autumn Estates at night with a Halloween aesthetic. Additionally, they're capable of exploring the entirety of Olympus at night, possibly hinting both the Gun Run map and Shadow Royale could take place here.

It's hard to say. The devs announced during a recent AMA that they don't have plans to make more events like Season 8's multi-mode War Games, but it would make sense as a surprise reveal since Kings Canyon After Dark drummed up excitement during Year 1's Halloween celebration and would be the next nighttime map makeover in over a year. As typical with leaks, take it as you will, but we'll keep you updated if this all comes true in October.
