Broken Ranks Hosts Winter Event Featuring A Rivalry Between Old Father Winter And Santa Claus
Players can earn boxes that contain boss entry tickets, currencies, and utility items.

Winter has come to Broken Ranks.
A new event is scheduled from December 22 to January 2, promising festive fun and rewards for players. Old Father Winter and Santa Claus have commenced a playful rivalry, giving players tasks of varying difficulty levels across different locations like Trentis, Alaril, the Plateau, and Beirn. These quests range from trivial to extreme, rewarding players with boxes containing boss entry tickets, currencies, and utility items. To maximize rewards, players are encouraged to form parties to efficiently tackle event mobs and champions spawning in various areas.
New additions and adjustments have been made based on player feedback, too. In the 40-65 level range, angels team up with carolers, and reindeers join forces with elves in the Forlorn Settlement. Meanwhile, the Khold Forest introduces the Secretary's Assistant, providing a challenge for full parties. Additionally, players in the 66-89 level range can take on two new opponents: Santa Claus’ Bigger Helper and Snegurochek. Also, some opponents have relocated to the de Vries Estate and the Shore.
The Winter Event features a special event cloak skin as well — the Coat of Christmas Past, available in the game's Premium Store.
Other changes with this update include the introduction of new minions and adjustments to the behavior of Santa Claus in Level 140 tasks. The opening cost of gifts has been modified for the 40-65 and 110-139 level ranges. After the event, a new NPC will appear to exchange leftover hats and stars for gold or boxes until January 8.
