Darkfall: Rise of Agon’s Steam Closed Beta Test Is Right Around The Corner
All Players with premium game time will be able to participate in this CBT
Access to Big Picture Games’ Steam closed beta for Darkfall: Rise of Agon will soon be available to any and all accounts with premium game time. In addition there will also be new supporter packages to further aid in support and development. Players can also purchase a new Initial supporter package that will give unlimited premium access till launch and some premium time at launch with an added bonus of a couple of goodies off the store. Fans who previously purchased don’t have to worry about their skins and perks, as while they can no longer be purchased, they will be grandfathered in and won’t suddenly disappear.
More details are said to be released in the future, but as of now the main focus is getting the game on the Steam platform and to begin playtesting while Big Picture Games finishes all their critical changes and features they want to incorporate in the steam launch.
Once the closed beta access has opened up, BPG will be looking for players to be involved in playtesting and providing feedback. Rewards in the form of game time, bonus tokens, special recognition and more will be offered for those that are heavily involved and are providing a good amount of feedback.
BPG also announced that they are going to be retiring their preexisting forms, so if fans want to join in on the conversation they can always join the Official Discord to keep up on the latest news and discussions regarding the CBT. It should be noted this will also be the main platform to provide feedback regarding the CBT so players involved should join if they want to be heavily involved with changes to the game.
While BPG did admit that development has been slower than they previously anticipated, things are still moving forward in a positive direction. Players that would like to learn more can check out the article on Rise of Agon’s site.
