DC Universe Online Update 126 Wants Players To Save The Universe...Because That's Still A Hero's Job
It’s gonna require some time travel.
Some new-old content is now available for fans of the superhero MMO DC Universe Online. In Update 126 – which is currently live – players are tasked with saving the universe by taking on the Save the Universe event in normal (original) and elite modes. Players can find the related quests in their journal. But, as this is a time travel thing, a visit to Rip Hunter will be required to kick the whole thing off. Good thing he’s chilling in the House of Legends.
As part of the event, players can also pick up daily and weekly missions in order to get their hands on some goodies. More goodies can also be found in the LexCorp Exclusive Time Capsule. It contains new styles and items inspired by the villain, and opening more than 25 will net players a new Ally: Future Lex Luthor. This new ally features his own unique set of abilities, mostly revolving around that big, evil brain of his. A full rundown of what you get when you get Lex can be found on the DCUO forums.
