Ubisoft will finally bring crossplay and cross-progression to Rainbow Six Siege console owners next month on December 6. While both crossplay and cross-progression have been available for PC, Luna, and Stadia, console players will now be able to enjoy the features as well in Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 7 Season 4, Operation Solar Raid.

Starting on December 6, players can access their progress and items across all platforms and can team up with friends using Ubisoft Connect. In addition, Operation Solar Raid is also introducing a new intel-gathering Defender named Solis who is bringing with her a special updated prototype, the SPEC-IO Electro-Sensor, that is perfect for grabbing intel and creating coordinated strategies. There will also be a brand-new competitive map, Nighthaven Labs, and a completely revamped Battle Pass. The new Battle Pass will now be a linear system with branching paths. Players can plan their progression and get the rewards that they want faster, while still having access to all paths and rewards.

Players who would like to read more about Operation Solar Raid can check out the full notes on Ubisoft’s site or they can watch the Operation Solar Raid reveal video below.
