FPS/RTS Hybrid Silica Enters Early Access Today, Plans To Be There For A Year
You can try the FPS/RTS crossover now.
Silica has landed in Steam Early Access today, and you can pick it up for $19.99. Blending first-person shooting and real-time strategy, Silica puts you in a three-faction conflict fighting over the planet of Baltarus. The game plans to be in Early Access for about a year as they polish the game and add more content.
Silica lets you handle the macro of base building and troop movement, then hop into one of those units for some shooting action. There are 6 unique locations, 3 game modes, single-player and multi-player options, 5 infantry classes, 11 vehicles, and 8 alien creatures.
