I'm beginning to think miHoYo may be out to kill me with the relentless pace of events in Genshin Impact lately. Not only is the treasure hunting event still running, but the game's latest update also prepares for the Hypostatic Symphony Event. (That's in addition to finally adding Ganyu to the character roster along with her test run and story quest.)

Speaking of Ganyu, the new Cryo character should be familiar to all Genshin Impact players as she's already appeared in the game's storyline as the Yuehai Pavilion's secretary. More recently, she was teased as part of the game's upcoming updates during the livestream in December. As with all characters newly introduced to the game, Ganyu is now the focus of a wish event and the game's latest story quest "Sinae Unicornis Chapter". To gain access to the new story quest, players will need to be Adventure Rank 40 and have a story key, as well as have completed the Archon Quest, Chapter I: Act III - "A New Star Approaches."

As for the Hypostatic Symphony Event, it kicks off in just four days -- about a day before the current event comes to an end -- and is open to players of at least Adventure Rank 20. The update post doesn't go into great detail about what players should expect, but based on the title and image, it's obviously time to take down some Hypostasis and earn rewards for it. The first clear will earn players Primogems and once players have hit a certain score point, they'll be rewarded with a new namecard style. At the same time this event kicks off, another Seize the Day Daily Login will as well, providing players with more Primogems, Enhancement Ore, and other rewards.
