Guild Wars 2 Details WvW Changes, But Some Things Are Being Postponed To Get It To 24/7 Beta
We've got a few more weapon proficiency previews for you, too!
If you’ve been wondering what ArenaNet has planned for the upcoming Guild Wars 2 World vs. World changes, then you might want to check out the most recent post on the MMORPG's site. Published today, the post covers how the guild hall arena is being improved, offering players a way to decide whether their arena is used for PvE, WvW, or PvP. They’re also adding options to extend PvP combat outside the arena – allowing battle to take place across the whole map.
The post also covers how the devs are working to address player population imbalances in World vs. World. This involves a new team-building system that redistributes players and guilds to new teams on a fixed schedule.
The post is fairly lengthy. However, some of it covers what’s been delayed and general plans for the future. The full write-up can be read on the game’s site.
Also of note, two more weapon proficiencies have been highlighted on the game’s site. These are Guardians with dual pistols and the Engineer with the short bow.
