Guild Wars 2 Shows Off Living World Season 3 Teaser, Slashes Heart of Thorns Price Tomorrow
Season 3 of Guild Wars 2's Living World story kicks off next Tuesday, July 26, and ArenaNet's got some graphic-y goodness to get you in the mood. Today's teaser trailer hints at some of the story lines that will be coming with the update, including memorials to fallen heroes and the unveiling of a "new threat."
To play the Season 3 content, you'll need to purchase the Heart of Thorns expansion, but there's good news on that front. Starting tomorrow, ArenaNet will discount the price of the expansion by 50%. Current expansion prices range from $49.99 to $99.99, and there's no mention of how long the sale will go, but we'd guess it'll run until the new content goes live. If you haven't picked up Heart of Thorns yet, tomorrow's your best time to buy.
