Guild Wars 2's Icebrood Saga Finale Kicks Off Nov. 17
Last week, we learned about the general plan for Guild Wars 2's next few updates. This week, we get some spicy visuals -- and, significantly, audio -- for the next update, which is coming in just two weeks and will kick off the final chapters of the Icebrood Saga.
The trailer for the first chapter, Truce, was dropped today, and showed off the return of the elder dragon Primordus, and the havoc his minions are wreaking on the world. Players will be able to take on replayable Dragon Response Missions to challenge him, recruiting NPC factions and learning the Dragon Slayer Mastery to aid in their battles. For their efforts, players can earn Dragon Slayer and Volcanic Stormcaller weapon skins, as well as the Crystal Bloom axe skin.
This chapter of the Icebrood Saga finale drops on Nov. 17 and adds not only the new content but voice acting for previous chapters No Quarter and Jormag Rising. Future chapters will be coming about every two months and add more replayable missions, allied factions (tengu!), and rewards. Learn more about the update on the Guild Wars 2 site.
