Hearthstone Showdown In The Badlands

Blizzard dropped a new patch for Hearthstone today. Patch 27.6 introduces Un’Goro to Twist and makes Battleground mid-season changes in the card game. It also paves the way for the game’s next expansion, Showdown in the Badlands, due to launch on November 14.

In the Showdown in the Badlands, the Bloodrock Mining Company has discovered Azerite in the Badlands. Now they’re going full-tilt mining it all out and putting the Badlands in danger. A group has come together to try to save the Badlands from the group and Sherriff Barrelbrim.

The expansion adds 145 new cards and is available for pre-purchase now. Players have a choice of the base bundle for $50 or the mega bundle for $80. The base bundle includes 60 Showdown in the Badlands packs, 2 random Showdown in the Badlands Legendary cards, and the Ulfar card back. The mega bundle also includes the card back. The number of cards in the Showdown in the Badlands Pack has been increased to 80. In addition, the bundle includes 10 Golden Showdown in the Badlands Packs, a random Signature Legendary, a Golden Legendary, and the Ulfar Druid Hero skin.

Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
