Horde And Alliance Will Soon Be Able To Share Mob Tagging In World Of Warcraft
The change will be included in the new Dragonflight expansion.
Mob tagging is about to get a bit friendlier in World of Warcraft with the drop of the Dragonflight expansion. Expanding on the cross-faction features that began rolling out in May, the developers are introducing cross-faction mob tagging. It’s a move that makes sense with cross-faction guilds coming as well.
The developer dropped news of the new feature on Twitter yesterday. It was just a simple tweet, without too many details. The change goes into effect during Dragonflight pre-patch. It won’t apply to War Mode, and Mobs will still grey out after five characters have tagged it. So, if you’re alliance and come across a mob tagged by a member of Hoard, you’re still good.

Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
