Knights Of The Fallen Empire Launched Today
The long wait is finally over. Star Wars the Old Republic's latest expansion goes live today. Knights of the Fallen Empire takes SWTOR back to its roots of concentrating on personal experience and storytelling.
KotFE includes the first nine chapters of "player-driven storyline." New chapters will be dropped periodically.
To make the most of the new storyline, Bioware is also offering newly subscribed players a free Level 60 character so they can jump right in and become an Outlander -- otherwise known as a veteran of the Great Galactic War. Of course, a warrior's job is never done, and the Outlanders will have an all new enemy to confront; the immortal Emperor, Valkorion.
Players can get in on the fight to save the galaxy by signing up on SWTOR's site. The expansion and boost are free for subscribers, both new and old.
