Of The Xbox Accounts Bless Unleashed Banned Over A Duplication Exploit, About 20 May Be Required To Drop Cash To Be Unbanned
If you want unbanned, you may have to pay.
By now, anyone who plays games online knows that if you abuse issues with the game’s system, you’re going to be nailed for it. But, when it involves the possibility of getting stuff for free, some folks can’t resist. Normally, those kinds of abuses earn a ban of varying degrees, depending on how overboard those engaging in exploits go. But, this may be the first time I’ve seen a game company tell players they can get out of ban jail on one very specific condition. They’ll have to pay… actual money...maybe...
Recently, Bless Unleashed’s XBox version had some server problems that allowed players to duplicate the Founder’s Packs, including premium items and the premium currency Lumena. Of course, these players spent their ill-gained Lumena on stuff that they would have otherwise had to throw down cash to obtain. So, as the Bless team sees it, they’re owed some money. So, there are about 20 accounts that may have to purchase Lumena to compensate for the amount they obtained through the exploit.
They may be required to purchase Lumena to compensate for the amount they spent without purchasing, in order to bring their accounts out of a state where they owe Lumena to the system. If you still have a banned account, please send a message to https://t.co/JHLkEIjLRJ.

If they go with this plan, it means that those players will be allowed back in after ponying up the money.
As you might expect, a good portion of player response so far seem to something between annoyance and amusement. Interestingly, based on some player comments, it appears that the fault was on Microsoft’s end, rather than Bless’s. So, some players feel they’re more than within their rights to ask the players to pay them back. That said, comments also make it appear as though large sums of Lumena was just appearing in player accounts, rather than them having to do anything themselves to exploit the issue.
So, if this is the case, perhaps they should be asking Microsoft to cover the loss. Although, as some have argued, maybe players should have been a bit more cautious about using a ton of premium currency that just appeared in their account one day.
