Warframe Operation Plague

Operation: Plague Star is returning to Warframe from September 10 to September 24, across all platforms. This recurring Clan Event takes place in the Plains of Eidolon, where a massive Infested boil, spawned from a meteorite impact, threatens to overwhelm the settlement of Cetus. To stop the infestation before it spreads, players of the free-to-play shooter must secure a Toxin capable of destroying the boil. However, Councilor Vay Hek, who possesses the Toxin, refuses to assist, leaving them to rally their forces, infiltrate his supply lines, and take matters into their own hands.

Players can expect a mixture of combat and coordination, requiring them to battle Hemocytes and defend against the Infested horde. This year, new rewards expand the incentive to participate, including the Hemocyte Glyph, Sigil, and Decoration, plus a one-time-purchase Omni Forma. Additional cosmetic prizes include the Protosomid Shoulder Guard, Aspirus Ephemera, Cryptanaut Necramech Helmet, and decorative Earth and Murex Consoles for the Orbiter.

Digital Extremes will provide further details once the event launches on September 10 at 11 AM (ET), but you can start preparing now of course.
