RuneScape’s Latest Update Tasks Players With Retaking The Wilderness
Make your mark and become nobility.
Now that the gods have been banished from The Wilderness in RuneScape, it’s time to reclaim the area – at least that’s apparently what King Roald thinks. In fact, he’s issued a decree that whoever can take back the land and keep it will be given the title of Duke, Duchess, or Dux – whichever is most fitting in the MMORPG game.
To do this, players will be establishing a strategic outpost using the new Construction skilling method. Build the base and upgrade it. Future updates will even add new things to it that will help in fighting back the various forces that are just waiting to pick a fight.
The new outpost will feature a variety of buildings necessary for survival. These include things like a workshop, a chapel, a town hall, and more. Each building will have three tiers, each offering various buffs. Full details on the system and how things will work are available on the RuneScape site.
