Secure Brand-New Exclusive Titles In Dauntless’s Gauntlet Season 2 And Consume The Power Of The Thunderdeep In Latest Patch
The Heroic Thunder season is bringing new challenges and new rewards.
Dauntless’ Patch 1.13.0 has arrived introducing Gauntlet Season 2, themed cells, and new rewards.
Players can jump right in and begin enjoying the newly expanded arenas as well as engage in multi-Behemoth fights anywhere in Old Ramsgate. Players will be able to earn new weapon trackers from the Research Lab and climb the Gauntlet leaderboard to secure brand-new exclusive titles this season, such as The Gauntless, Dauntlet, and more.
Gauntlet Season 1 is drawing to a close on January 19! 🥊
When Season 2 starts with 1.13.0, Season 1’s themed cells will move to a Last Chance tab in the Research Lab. After two weeks, these cells will no longer be available for direct redemption, so be sure to grab them now! 🦠 pic.twitter.com/A2hF1cjOT0

This season is also bringing with it three new themed cells, Reduce, Reuse, and you guessed it, Recycle. Reduce will allow for increased damage, but will subsequently lower attack speed. With Reuse, breaking a Behemoth part will grant a small attack speed bonus with a chance to get an even larger bonus that will be applied to the whole party. Lastly is Recycle, with this cell dealing damage to the same part will increase damage, but the bonus will be lost if a player hits a different part. Players who forgot to pick up the cells from Season 1–Stop, Drop, and Roll–can head over to the Last Chance tab of the Research Lab and use their leftover crests from Season 1 for a guaranteed +1 cell.
Next, we welcome the return of the Ostian rangers with new weapons and armor. Players who wish to adorn the armor and weapon skills that channel the power of the Thunderdeep will need to unlock the Ostian Rangers cosmetic Hunt Pass or dig into the Battle Academy cosmetic Hunt Pass to collect gear skins for the Slayer.
As for rewards, players will be able to unlock two complete sets of heroic armor and an array of weapon skins inspired by the First Slayer by collecting pathfinder coins. Those who want to read more into Patch 1.13.0’s quality-of-life changes and bug fixes can do so on Dauntless’s site.
