The Armada Is Back, So Deal With Them And Find Your Dead Parents' Souls In Pirate101's "Totally Not Egypt" Update
It's BASED on Egypt, but it totally ISN'T Egypt, it's Krokotopia.
You know, when you sign up to be a pirate, I'm sure you think it'll be all about sailing, the open sea air, finding treasure, and maybe a fair bit of drinking. You never really think you'll be trying to find out what happened to the souls of your dead parents, facing off against the Armada (weren't these cats defeated already?), or fending off drakes and other draconian minions in the streets of Zigazag.
That's where Pirate101 players find themselves today in the MMORPG's new "The Enemy Revealed" update.
Who is that enemy? That's been a long burning question actually. While Pirates have been searching the seas for the face behind the disappearance of their dead parents' souls, they've also had to deal with other things along the way. This story arc comes to a head in today's update as you'll work your way through a very Egypt-inspired Krokotopia and the Tomb of Anubis.
Hell, even the patch notes won't reveal the new enemies.
Oh, and the damn Armada is back. While we thought these folks were taken care of in the last story we worked though, it appears that not all of them have given up the chase.
Along the way there will be plenty of new gear, mounts, and more to collect, so I guess maybe there is treasure to be found after all.
