A lot of updates hit RuneScape, and Necromancy ain’t even out yet.

During the July Patch Week, Jagex implemented several things. The Necromancy Insights series began, providing weekly blogs about the MMORPG's upcoming Necromancy update. Also, the new design for the Soul Dye item — coming July 17 — was revealed, combining elements from previous concepts with a new animated texture. Additionally, the Parcels From The Dead event was extended until July 24 to allow more time for players to obtain the Soul Dye.

Continuing on, a Max Party event will be held on July 12, featuring a preview of the rewards for the upcoming Dead and Buried quest. Various fixes and improvements were made too, addressing issues such as Abyssal beasts' movement, disappearing Agility vines, and errors in Skill Guides. Event bonuses were introduced as well, including Double Dragon Chests and the Vault of the Dead, providing players with additional rewards during the Parcels From The Dead event.

Furthermore, there was a currency-related fix, adjustments to boss encounters in the Unwelcome Guests update, and changes to the Woodcutters' Grove area. These changes improved various aspects such as tooltips, wood spirits, Woodcutting tasks, and the functionality of the Imcando Hatchet. Aside from all that, general fixes were made to interface elements, achievements, and other areas of the game.

Here’s the full patch notes for more information, as part of the MMORPG's new blog series called "This Week In RuneScape."
