HoYoVerse Reveals More About Fontaine During The Genshin Impact Version 4.0 Special Program

Another Genshin Impact update, another nation to visit, another mystery to solve. The Traveler just stays busy. Today, HoYoVerse hosted another Special Program for the game's Version 4.0 update, titled “A Light Rain Falls Without Reason”. The new update is another big expansion, designed to finally take players to the nation of justice, Fontain. Players will be able to explore the game’s fifth nation on August 16, so if, like me, you’re a bit behind. Might be worth catching up.

The nation of Fontain is described as a hub of culture and art, filled with vast landscapes. As always, there will be a bunch of new World Quests, and plenty of story to experience. Players will be exploring underwater areas to discover even more mysteries.

Of course, a new nation means the continuation of the main storyline with a new Archon Quest series. The update will also introduce three new characters: Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet. Players can look forward to two new bosses as well.
