Mabinogi's New Stardust Update Adds New Skills, Missions, And Quests
The latest installment of Mabinogi's Stardust saga is now live, following its first part from July. That introduced five Stardust effects, and today's update adds five more, along with new missions and quests and a higher cap on Stardust ranks.
Those additional five ranks, from 11 to 15, will add one powerful skill apiece -- literally, as their names are Power Blast, Power Flare, Power Blow, Power Chaser, and Power Veil. Milletians can put them to use in high-level Society Sponsorship quests, which will "help players build life skills and combat skills." (I could probably use both of those, though not in a video game...) There are also two new quests for Melwyn's storyline, which require the completion of 150 and 300 Society Sponsorship quests to access.
There are two new Lord Missions, Master of Corrib Cabin and Fragments of a Trivial Fate, as well as Scrimmage, a new Baltane mission that will see you training squires for battle. You can also look for a "cryptic hidden floor in the Alban Knights Training Ground," a.k.a. the Hall of Crusaders, which you can access after clearing the fourth floor of the training ground and by using the correct training stone; you'll receive three new Enchant Scrolls as a welcome gift.
