Metin2 Tyranny Of Aamon Update Throws Players Into The Dark Moonshadow Vale
This November brings new bosses, Metins of Moonslight, and a haunting new region.
Metin2 will drop the Tyranny of Aamon update this November. Players of the free-to-play MMORPG will venture into the eerie Moonshadow Vale of Yohara — a region that was once lush and full of light but has now fallen into darkness and decay. What was once a paradise is now haunted by twisted trees, ghostly blue flames, and menacing creatures that lurk in the gloom.
They will face new bosses like Azphirna, Queen of the Banshees, and Nykos, who appears only after players sacrifice enough soul shards at his altar. The update also introduces the Metins of Moonlight, mysterious stones that drop valuable shards when destroyed. However, breaking them can also summon the Cursed Soul Harvester.
Accessing Moonshadow Vale requires them to have reached Champion Level 10, entering through a new portal west of Yilad Pass. Those at Champion Level 4 or higher can begin a new series of storyline quests that tie directly into the unfolding events of Yohara’s corrupted lands.
