The Old Ones Return In Star Trek Online’s Annual Halloween Event
Stop supernatural forces from taking possession of the Transmuter.
Ah. Spooky Season. How we’ve missed you.
Don’t let the Christmas trees in the stores fool you. It’s still October, and we owe it to our inner child to celebrate the best of all seasons. Luckily for Star Trek Online fans, the devs are coming prepared with the return of the MMORPG's Halloween Event.
This year, the Old Ones are back, and for good reason. Their castle has been invaded by forces looking to obtain the Transmuter. The three-week event, kicking off on October 12th, includes two Patrols and a TFO titled “Cat’s Tale”. The Patrols players can do on their own, but they’re going to need to team up with others to take on the TFO.
Participation in the event will earn players progress toward The Anaphasic Plasma Candle Device Grand Prize. The first character on the account to claim this item will also earn additional rewards that include 25k Dilithium Ore and 3 Featured Episode Reward boxes.
Those of you who have more than one character will probably want to decide which one needs those items the most before taking on the challenges.
