Trove Friendsgiving

There's quite a bit going on in Trove right now. The F2P voxel game from gamigo not only has its "Turkeytopia Freindsgiving" event running, but is also has a number of sales and contests running, and now today the game gets the "Punches and Potions" update on PC.

This update fixes a LONG standing issue many had with the UI. Until now, any effects currently on your character were displayed with small icons under your experience bar. They were small, and it was annoying. Punches and Potions finally puts the effects in their own window. You'll also be able to see the effects, read the effects, and , if able, remove effects. This fix was a long time coming, so we're glad to see it included.

The main feature of the new update is the addition of two new tradeskills; Mysticism and Martial Arts. The first specializes in buffs, potions, and scrolls, but it relies on a resource called Mana. You can collect mana in the world, but it's only ever in 3 biomes at a time and the biomes rotate each week with a new biome having mana, and a previous biome no longer offering it.

Martial Arts is all about Karma. Completing events and earning Good and Bad Karma allows Martial Artists to craft shouts, mantras, and stances. All three provide additional buffs when either used (shouts and stances) or while in a specific animation state (mantras).
