The Wild West And ASCII Oakley Come To Champions Online's OK Corral
If you've been waiting for something new to do in Champions Online, you're officially covered. Two new bits of content have been deployed for the game, offering players a choice between something with an occult flavor, or something Wild West-themed.
First up is the continuation of The Serene Abyss Serial Story. In Chapter 2, players will help Dr. Ka defend Millenium City by hunting down the Shadows lurking in Vibora Bay. With this menace lurking about, Ka can't focus on his work and the results would be less than ideal.
The second bit of content is the new "High Noon" Alert. See... It even has an old spaghetti-western name. The premise is pretty simple. Robots in the western world are out of control and it's up to the players to help stop them -- in exchange for western-themed rewards of course. Players will definitely need to help defeat a special gunslinging robot by the name of ASCII Oakley. Those who manage to do so will be rewarded with her unique robo-curl hair design. Other rewards from this Alert include a poncho reminiscent of the one worn by Clint Eastwood in The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.
