World Of Warships: Legends Is Making The Jump To Steam
If you want in the closed beta test, you really need to sign up now.
Wargaming announced that World of Warships: Legends – the game some may think of as “the console and mobile version of World of Warships” will be launching on Steam. The cross-platform war strategy game is already listed on Valve’s site, and registration for the closed beta test is open. It kind of needs to be, as the test kicks off in just a few days, running from May 23 through May 26.
During the test, players will have access to the Versus AI, Arcade, and Standard battle types. Commanders, divisions, Tech Trees, and more are also available during the test period. That said, some features, such as Bureau Projects, Fleets, and, yes, crossplay, won’t be introduced until the game launches. At launch, it will have more than 500 warships and 100 commanders available for players. Feedback is requested, particularly on things like controls and performance. Considering the game is being brought over from console and mobile devices, this is some of the most important feedback players can give.
As for those already playing on console and mobile devices, the May update will introduce a new German Legendary Tier battleship via a six-week campaign. The May update also includes several events such as the Hunt for Bismark and The Battle of Jutland.
