Genshin Impact's next big update, Version 2.0, isn't that far away now. It's a matter of hours at this point. (Technically tomorrow, but likely sometime tonight depending on your location.) When the update arrives, it'll introduce a whole new region, creatures, and characters -- all of which were highlighted in the last Special Program. The first among these characters that players will encounter when Version 2.0 launches will be the "Frostflake Heron" Kamisato Ayaka, daughter of the Kamisato Clan and adored by all Inazuma.

The younger of two siblings who inherited the Kamisato Clan, Ayaka helps her brother Ayato run the clan by taking care of various affairs. She's more or less the face of the clan and better known than her brother. If her character video -- which you can watch below -- is anything to go by, she's also rather serious about training, and always up for a challenge.

Ayaka is a master with the sword and carries a Cryo vision. She's fast and able to deal great amounts of AoE damage. She's also the first of the new characters coming with version 2.0 to be available in a banner event.

Speaking of events, miHoYo is hosting yet another one of those events where they give away real-world goodies rather than in-game items. This time, they want players to comment on a forum post with a flower that they think describes Kamisato Ayaka and why. The event lasts until tomorrow. So you'll need to hurry, but if you post in time, you'll have a chance to win some kind of merch. Ten players will be chosen by July 29.
