Guild Wars 2's End of Dragons expansion is only five days away from its February 28 launch date, and it appears to be the culmination of a nearly decade-long story revolving around Tyria's six elder dragons.

That's a lot of years and a lot of epic battles, and if you missed some of it ... well, you can play through all the story (minus some early bits from Season 1 that aren't available in-game), which will take you weeks or months to complete. Or you can just watch a three-minute recap video to get caught up. That seems like a good deal, right?

Today's "The Story Thus Far" video, narrated by Taimi, couldn't and doesn't cover every detail, but at least it's pretty, and should at least do a decent job of explaining the overarching story if you've been living under a golem for the past several years.

My one gripe? Its "not everyone made it segment" omits the deaths I actually felt a little emotional about (spoilers, obviously). It also leaves out everyone's favorite undead quaggan beggar, but he's been gone so long, it's hard to remember the brief time -- two weeks in July 2014 -- when you could actually see him alive.
