Today, Gameforge announced that their Internal Studio is hunting for a full-time Game Designer to join their ranks to make a new free-to-play online mobile game. On the plus side, the employee will design the game from scratch with a hybrid work schedule, but they'll likely spend most of their time scheming up a cryptocurrency economy rather than contributing to fun game mechanics.

With the Senior Game Designer at the studio, the role will focus on modeling the game's economy across multiple currencies (tokenomics), sinks, and different game modes. The primary vibe of said economy is supposed to complement the fun gameplay and reward players with a play-to-earn experience for long-term contributors. Following that responsibility, the Game Designer will help balance PvP and PvE, design the UI with a robust UX experience to heighten usability on mobile devices, and create detailed documentation in Confluence.

Despite the excitement of fully developing a game from scratch, it's clear that the focus of Gameforge is to gain the interest of the NFT population. Most of the skills of the aspiring applicant even mention knowing crypto gaming and NFTs. Could it be fun? Sure.

But when you have to understand the macro and micro levels of the economy, know pricing theory, and craft statistics to benefit a play-to-earn system, it seems like a model that doesn't serve as a fun experience you can pick up and play on a whim, but rather systems trying to suck time and money out of players. But hey, maybe Gameforge could be making THE game that makes everyone join the NFT wave! Guess we'll have to wait and see, huh?

Once upon a time there was once a beautiful lake (GamingWorld)
This lake (GamingWorld) had an abundance of life and its water was so fresh you could drink from it and people did, It gave great benefit to people who came to see it, visitors came from all around the world Joy and laughter is heard all over of lakes(GamingWorld) magic.
One dark gloomy day the sun was clouded by miners(NFT'S) who came in their droves to the beautiful lake(GamingWorld), the miners began to slowly pour GREED (NFT'S) into the lake to make their GOLD(NFT'S) and all the life in lake (GamingWorld) started becoming sick and ill and could not stop the GREED (NFT'S) from the miners(NFT'S). The lake(GamingWorld) started losing its life and began to slowly decay, transforming the lake(GamingWorld) into a gambling den(NFT'S)., The lake became swollen and bloated as it dried up becoming lifeless and bare. Nothing was left, the lake(GamingWorld) was no longer a sight could be seen of a small group of gamblers(NFT'S) all grouped together raised hands of a victor and destroyers of fun and happiness by their own selfish way.
