Trion World’s Atlas Reactor is a free-to-play turn-based strategy game that requires deft planning, quick decisions, and a little luck. Featuring Moba elements with complex 4v4 battles, you’ll need to think carefully about the moves you make and anticipate your enemies’ movements to counter their strategies while executing your own. There are over a dozen characters, each of whom bring different talents to the battlefield.

Each turn is separated into Decision Mode and Resolution Mode. Players plan out their turns in Decision Mode, choosing their movement, attacks, and special abilities. In Resolution Mode, those actions are executed and either hit or miss their targets. The four parts of Resolution Mode are Prep, in which players execute special abilities; Dash, where players use dodges and charges; Blast, where most attacks occur; and Move.

The simultaneous planning means that you’ll sometimes have to anticipate what your enemies will do before they do it. Likewise, you’ll need to choose your actions and hope you can avoid or mitigate your opponents’ actions. It’s a back-and-forth chess match that only one side can win!

Really fun game. Very fair business model as of now, f2p friendly. Amazing gameplay that will keep you coming back for me. Definitely worth the try!

What a half-free-to-play game. You cannot use all heroes untill buy the game.
    That really stupid, I wanted full-free-to-play, not a half-free-to-play.
    But game is really nice.

They are changing their business model again. Now they are offering a free to play option for players sometime this week.

I’m playing the closed beta, game looks really nice. Just that it’s not really for me.. I paid for nothing.. 😀

This is no longer a free-to-play game, as they have changed their business model to paid-for.

A really unic game so far, it has 20 turns max for fast matches and for an X-COM fan like me a turn based online pvp game it’s a dream came true. Only cons the game it’s in alpha and it has various problems in term of graphic settings, every matchmaking freezes at the loading screen because the “requirement don’t met”. You have to run Glyph as admin in order to make it works but it doesn’t all the time and you have to force exit the game and rejoin at match already started. Hoep they’ll fix it soon btw ^_^
