  1. This game is best played by a serious and technical gamer and strategic thinker. Very community oriented, brutal game of domination. Every server has an end-point with a clear victor. I led one such clan (INSO-W13.) When I played some years ago, TW1 was NOT pay to win. You pay a nominal monthly fee and get more administrative tools that makes gameplay more efficient. There was no in-game advantage such as force/resource multiplier, shields, ect.

  2. Very pay to win game(reason for 3.8 out of 5 score) if your looking to have fun with this game… then get ready to blow a lot of money just to get ahead and probably still get no where

  3. TW2 is not good game, I played TW1 2010 and that time was very good. TW2 is only pay to win game. Do not waste time on this game.

  4. There needs to be a distinction between Tribal Wars 1 and 2. I have played both extensively and I can say with confidence, version 1 is far better. Version 2 is very expensive and built to suck money from your bank. Strategy and tactics are not as well developed as they are in version 1. Plus there are many more tools you can use in version 1 to aid in running your account.

The key to having a successful and fun adventure is wait a week before starting your village. That way your out of the center area where players are fighting to survive. Wait a week to ten days and spend around $10 -20 and you will have a great time if you enjoy the type of game.

  5. I used to play and love tribal wars 1. It is definitely a game that requires a ton of strategy and dedication. But, it used to be only a 5 dollar monthly membership which helped some, but an active non member could overcome…now as TW2 its entirely pay to play and they left out several key features of the game such as a server clock, account sitting, millisecond precision timing. It lags and takes up more and more system resources as the browser window stays open. The morale system also makes it so that you can’t fight anymore…if you get to be twice as strong as your nearby neighbor through hard work and dedication while he might check his computer every other day, guess what?… You now do almost no damage to him because you have more points. I watched 15k provisions die against 50 provisions (I had faith bonus)…I will never play another Innogames production in my life. If a game has glowing reviews, an unbelievable trailer and is a free game that I would normally be willing to pay for(or donate to), but I find out that its made by InnoGames…. I won’t even give it a minute of my life.

  6. I would not recommend this game to anybody. Tribal Wars, Tribal Wars 2, and InnoGames in general are the biggest pay to win games on the net. You can buy more of everything in game with money. You would end up spending more on this game then any major full scale platform game to get anywhere. Waste of time because you can never compete with the money spenders. There are also in game moderators that are all petty and childish. They will get you to work with and side with them which is inevitable if you manage to get anywhere. If you don’t or you make them mad in any way they will have you banned. Watched this happen several times. In short do not waste your time on this or any InnoGames, unless you are looking to battle somebody in who can spend the most money. All InnoGames are not engineered around the games themselves or good game play. They are made solely around being able to steal as much money from you as possible. There are TONS of way better and more enjoyable games out there.

  7. This game is the most brutal i’ve ever played! You need to gain power FAST, because if you fall victim to a strong player, you can COMPLETELY lose your village, and even be knocked out of the game. There are no limits to attacking either, so you are extremely vulnerable to bullying.

It’s really fun if you are dedicated, but its really risky too. This is a dangerous game.

  8. A insane game one i tried it out I had 0 of each resources and I advanced mere 1 of each resource a week! everyone attacks me player support is a joke and pay to win the typical Noreplay

  9. It used to be a fun game, but now they’ve converted over to a pay to win system. You can advance buildings faster, for real life money, you can get more resources for real life money. Add those to a game where you can conquer another player’s territory and take his stuff and you are basically just pitting the players against each other in a bidding war to pay more money.

This game requires no skill, just more time and money than your opponents. Avoid.

    • Not really. 50% of world are P2W but others are very much free, with exception of premium acount that make you life easier with hundreads of villages

  10. it is a difficult game to master and without near complete mastery of the game you wont last more than a month in a game world. Very fun and competitive once you get over a thousand villages under your command

  11. This is not a easy game, so don’t play it if your looking for a friendly game. Highy competive and cliquey. But it is one of the funnest browser games.
