Trove Spring Sting

I don’t know whose idea it was to combine wasps and spiders into one thing, but I’d really like to have a talk with the Trove devs about that. It sounds terrifying. That’s probably why Sir Dapper Duckington, Esq., has his feathers in a ruffle and is seeking help from players of the F2P voxel MMORPG to protect the bees from these waspiders in the game’s latest update, Spring STING. (Trove players might recognize the event better as “Spring Fling".)</P.

During the event, players will be equipped with “Spring Flingers” when visiting Duckington at the event area of the game’s hub. This item will be used across three biomes where players will need to rescue bumbling bees (arguably the best kind of bees). Players will need to fight off the waspiders and fill beehives. There will also be some 1-star dungeons to take on in the hopes of earning seasonal loot. For those wanting a bit more adventure, 3-star Bee dungeons in the Fae Wilds and Neon City biomes will reward players with a new ally, Bouncee the Bee. These dungeons also contain rare drops.

In addition to all the bee activity, gamigo also announced that the “Trials of Luxion” is making its way to PlayStation and Xbox for the first time on May 26. Of course, it will also return to PC at the same time. To enter, players will need to craft “Luxion’s Pact” and use it on the Trials of Luxion portal. Those looking for a true challenge will want to visit Lord Primalux. Completing three of his quests will allow players to make the choice to leave with their current loot or risk it all for bigger rewards.
