  1. The game isn’t dead. Just in a coma or something. There’s still a few people, like 20-50..

    But the cuteness (from the characters to the scenery) is what keeps me playing.
    Gameplay is great, too.

    A must try.

    • this game looks fun and i would really like to play it but it keeps telling me Connetion failed (2) and i could not find any working solution on anu forum

      • The game closed. That’s why it says connection failed. My heart broke in a million pieces when I found out the day after ;-;

        • The developers, X-Legend, made another game kinda similar called Dragomon Hunters. Its close to Spirit Tales but it just isn’t the same when you boil it down. For those who are interested, you can download Dragomon Hunter on Steam or google Dragomon Hunter to find the official website.

  2. Spirit Tales is unique. Like what the comments out there said, the Chibi Artwork’s adorable. The battle system is semi-turn based, since you can use skills chaining one after another. After battle HP and MP regeneration is fast.

    The maps somehow resemble games like Super Mario Galaxy: The maps are like planets, you literally can see the edges of the world by looking at the corner of your eyes.

    Mobs are somehow similar to Divina, there are some repaints and re-levels of the same monster. Again, like Divina, each mob has a giant version, which is a boss. For most of the time, all bosses can be solo’d easily without breaking a sweat.

    Transformation buff is given at the level of 10, activating it will cause it to die within seconds unless you start attacking nearby enemies. Skills are most likely not so “wasteful” that it kills your entire mana bar, so you’re free to use one of your strong skills 30 times in a row.

    The pet system gives a unique taste since you can level the pet’s level by either fighting with it, or fusing with it. While fused, the pet will give you extra abilities, as well as it can level up while you fight.

    Crafting items don’t really require you to have crafting skills, you get different crafting weapons as you level up. Be warned, the materials might take some time for you to collect. Don’t worry if your crafting item might fail to be crafted, you can always add enhancements that are given to you through battles and quests.

    There are also a lot of skills to upgrade, both passive and active. Skills have branches leading to stronger skills. Buff skills can be permanent at times. Choose whatever skill you prefer to go with and come up with a different based character system (eg. Attack based or Speed based archer).

    Social content is kind of bland for now. Forming parties, trading, etc. It has everything basic inside, but this game might as well be a single player game if you don’t get along well with other players.

  3. Pretty bland. Stays the same from lvl 1 to lvl 45
    You can solo everything, no problem.

    Also, healers can’t resurrect people.
    Only sorcerers can. Way to go.
