ArenaNet Reveals End Of Dragons' Un-petrified Forest, The Echovald Wilds
Expansion area is teeming with life after hundreds of years "frozen and lifeless."
ArenaNet has previewed another region from the upcoming Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons expansion. This time, it's the Echovald Wilds, a forest that became "frozen and lifeless" when the Jade Wind blew through after the death of Shiro the Betrayer. That was a long time ago, though, and the forest is now alive and thriving, though many stoic ruins, and dangers, remain.
The brief teaser video follows the same beats as the previous one we saw for Shing Jea Island. As was the case with that area, Echovald Forest was a popular area from the original Guild Wars, so there's bound to be plenty of nostalgia for old-school players. For those of us who never made it to the Factions expansion ... well, it sure does look pretty, doesn't it?
