What’s explosive about it:
Original Art Style
Item Synthesis
Easy Interface

While Puppet Guardian has qualities that gamers often see in other free online role playing games, there is no other game quite like it.

Like other role playing games, players travel through Puppet Guardian’s persistent virtual world in search of items and experiences.  They have avatars (Guardians!) which represent them.  They must defend themselves against the attacks of beasts and monsters.  And once they have items in hand, they synthesize new items which are ever more sophisticated, beautiful, and powerful. And it is these items which give the Guardians their (or your)  unique identity. This last part is important because uniqueness is in many ways what Puppet Guardian is all about.

No need to install any software to play Puppet Guardian! You can begin the game right after registering–and registration is free. Our game is based on the very simple idea of rolling the dice to move forward, just like a board game. The rules are easy. Roll the dice and move your own unique character forward the same number of spaces on a map as your role. Roll a six and move your character six spaces forward. Easy right?

You can fashion clothes or make weapons by combining items that you pick up from each land on the map. Give your character a unique style and identity. All the characters are Maku Puppets, the animated figures that are becoming such a hit in Japan.

In this game, you can move forward on a map together with other players. Puppet Guardian makes it easy for you to create your own team and travel together. Collaboration is easy because the game allows you to chat with others who are playing at the same time as you. You can see their character as it moves through the game just as they can see yours. Starting a conversation is a snap.

Even better, you can become a leader of your own Team or Party and recruit teammates. We believe that you can get a real taste for the most fun and exciting part of Puppet Guardian by teaming up with other players and working together to overcome difficult challenges (like huge hairy monsters!) on the journey to get the materials needed to enhance your character.

  1. Horrible pay to win game. The art and music and crafting are nice but the fact that you have to pay to have any fun in this game is just awful. You need dice to play a boardgame type dungeon where you kill monsters and collect materials for crafting, where rolling dice determines how far you will move in the dungeon every turn. So it takes from 5 to10 dice or more to get through one dungeon. How you get dice? They regenerate 1 per 4 HOURS!!! or you can buy them for real money. You can also find dice inside dungeons, but not in the starting ones, but much later in the game. So as I said horrible P2W, stay away unless your pockets are filled with unneeded chash.

  2. So this game is really cool, but i have no idea how to heal myself. Now i saw that someone said use the blue herb thats easy to find, but i cant find it. i would like to heal myself since there is only one bubble left in my life. I would like to kill the basilisk in tower 2, but i need to heal myself first or i’ll just die again. Please help?????

  3. Hey.. My char is from a tower and got attacked by a lizard (I just started 2day) And im stuck with the green bubbles. Help?

    • Are you using google chrome? if so try using firefox. That bug has been around for a while now :/ if you dont have firefox try on internet explorer but firefox should work. After registering you can always play normaly on google chrome

  4. I must express my thnkas to you just for bailing me out of this scenario. Just after surfing around throughout the search engines and finding opinions that were not powerful, I assumed my life was gone. Existing without the presence of solutions to the issues you’ve resolved all through your good article is a critical case, and those which could have in a wrong way affected my career if I had not noticed your website. Your primary ability and kindness in dealing with all the details was useful. I’m not sure what I would have done if I hadn’t come across such a stuff like this. I can also now look forward to my future. Thank you very much for your high quality and effective help. I won’t think twice to endorse your web blog to any person who should receive recommendations on this issue.

  5. If you’re looking for a game with a nice crafting and housing system, pretty art style, as well as horrible moderators, and a community of people who enjoy scamming newbies, this is your game.

  6. Hellur 😛 I wanna make an acc except I can’t see the two words shown o,o I saw in the comments you had this problem before in may and I was wondering if you could fix it again?

  7. wish they had a sex/masturbating option for this game. and maybe the cum can heal you. XD

  8. I like this but when im logging in it always says ”your connection to the server has failed” anyone helpme pls.

    • Hmmm… Just now it happened to me… I still can’t play my very favorite game. Try the Check Your Connection Page, if it says error, you need a new connection. I tried it many times and waited but still can’t log in, I don’t know why…

  9. this is the most interesting browser game on the net, more people need to check this game out it is wonderful, the community is the most kindest and helpful I’ve ever seen.

  10. Quite possibly one of the best online browser games you can ever come across. A good tip when you are starting out is to build up your friend’s list; “Towering with friends” will then be an expression you will experience first-hand and will never forget for the rest of your life… seriously…

  11. always lots of fun!!! meet new friends from all over the world, collect items and upgrade your weapon and much much more!
Join our small community with loads of friendly and helpful people!
Also we organise small events from time to time like e.g. auctions or outfit contests!!
Most importantly the atmosphere is great and everyone feels pretty close to each other

  13. i LOVE puppet guardian 😀 played for over a year now thanks to all its lovely guardians. unlike most games theres not a lot of bullying or swearing 🙂
working up to synthesize items is a good goal to stick to a game plus there are always new items.
I love how the community is so tight thanks to the MODs.
We have fun events and just finished the season 1 battle. Can’t wait for season 2!!
PG is an evolving game so its pretty fun to stick to.

  14. Being tempted to play this game by a forum post, I have played this game for a while. So here I go for an extensive review. Scores are an average based on browserbased standards.

    Graphics: 7.5/10
I’m a fan of unique graphics, especially if they have that “homemade” feel about them. Graphical interface also hangs together, meaning there’s nothing that seems out of place. Not the best around but certainly not the worst.

    Audio: 8/10
Above all, the soundtrack fits into the overall style of the game. Means the artist did a fine job. It has a really rustic feel about it which is nice.

    Gameplay: 6.5/10
As much as I like the game, it feels like its not done yet. It seems to lack varying content. Things to do for when you want to do something else than the normal game. There are some things to do but it needs more. (Which, when reading some of the comments above is probably going to happen.) Also, it feels like the battle system (admittedly, not the most important part but still) could use some reworking, as hitting stuff with your weapon is kinda hard sometimes. Still, I like the dice system, tho maybe adding even more boardgame stuff (drawing cards, go back to start, roll again,…) would maybe be a good idea.

    Community: 9/10
A part that can maker or break a game. Luckily, this game has a good, welcoming community. From my first steps into the game, I was welcomed, asked if I needed any help and generally approached with cordiality. People here are friendly and will always try to answer you questions. The lack of trolls and whiners in this game is refreshing after some other games.

    New player guidance: 5/10
The biggest lack of this game. Even though there are video tutorials and a text tutorial, the ingame tutorial (which is written on rocks) is too hidden. Most players won’t go watch some videos of a game before playing it, especially if there’s no download they have to wait for. The best solution would be to maybe add a yellow border around the rocks until you’ve read them and have a window pop up with an arrow, telling them to read them. Or make them quests.

    Overall: 7/10
Some parts of the game still need some work, but generally a decent game. Definitely one to at least try.

    • Thank you for your feed back 😀 its good to get an outside opinion I’m glad you like the game the international version is still finding its feet but the japan version is well establish with Scratch cards items and stuff like that we just need a bigger community in the International version to be at par with our Japanese counter parts

    • New Player Guidance…
I think it is hidden because the things for like the slab says: “Click anywhere to move”…
It will ruin the whole story… Oh and there is another one, they are hidden ingame because there is already a tutorial sign button to click…

  15. The style of it is definitely unique, I haven’t seen any other game like it. But that begs the question, is it refined enough to be a good game? I can’t give an exact answer to this, because I couldn’t get into the game to bother to continue playing it. I kept rolling dies, collecting wool and wood, and wandering around. Wasn’t really sure what else to do besides that.

    • You can synthesize that material into clothes/weapons, dressing up your Puppet Guardian and interact with players, there is also going to be a new Quest Giver in season 2, and the sights are beautiful giving the nature look.

      • I realised that, but the point I was trying to make was that the game doesn’t give enough guidance to new players. You just enter a world with a die and roll it and wander around. What else are you supposed to do besides that? The game should tell you, in at least little dialog boxes, that you can pick up different materials and combine them to form items, and that sort of thing. 😉

        • I’m 18 and just thought I’d try it out and the game is barron o-o. May be the time or night or maybe Im in some sort of solo mode? There is no direction what so ever in this game. Since I am not 5 the cutesie graphics alone and music won’t tie me over xD. I have to keep looking stuff up about it and it seems slow. Not my kind of game. though when I played it before I remember there being more people.

  16. I really love this game. It is easy to make friends and everyone is really nice. You can easily communicate without restriction, and the item synthesis is really interesting. Be sure to check it out. My username is Tinyy, so say Hi if you see me! 🙂
